Bangladesh, June 28 -- The National Vitamin A Plus Campaign has set a target of administering vitamin A capsules to 564,000 children in the city. The Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) will implement the campaign across the city.

The campaign will be conducted from 8:00am to 4:00pm on June 28 through 1,321 temporary centres under the seven EPI zones covering the 41 wards of the CCC. A total of 2,658 volunteers will be engaged in the programme.

Last year, the programme achieved a success rate of 99.97 percent. This year, the CCC is working with the goal of achieving 100 percent coverage.
