Dhaka, Aug. 26 -- A group of students from Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS) blocked the Gabtoli and Technical intersection roads on Tuesday (26 August), demanding a permanent campus. They stated that the protest would continue until their demands are met.
The students took to the streets around 11:00 am, halting traffic and causing long congestion.
The protesters claimed that Professor Dr. AK. Azad Khan is serving as the head of the Health Sector Reform Commission while also holding the positions of president of the Bangladesh Diabetic Association and chairman of the university's trustee board.
