Dhaka, June 12 -- There are optimisms of ushering in a fresh breeze for democracy in Bangladesh through the awaiting meeting between Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in London, the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Wednesday.

"This meeting will be historic and bring in a fresh breeze for Bangladesh's democracy, I believe it. This meeting is very important," Rizvi said in a briefing at the party's Nayapaltan central office.

He said the entire nation is now looking towards the London meeting with great expectations, as the formal talks between Prof Yunus and Tarique are seen as a source of delight.
