Dhaka, Aug. 20 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday paid tribute to three teachers of Milestone School and College - Maherin Chowdhury, Masuka Begum, and Mahfuza Khatun-who lost their lives in a recent tragic plane crash, describing them as extraordinary examples of humanity and bravery.
The families of the three teachers met with Professor Yunus at the state guest house Jamuna in Dhaka. Present were Maherin Chowdhury's husband Monsur Helal, their two sons, siblings and close relatives; Masuka Begum's sister and brother-in-law; and Mahfuza Khatun's daughter, sister, nephew, and other relatives.
