Bangladesh, July 8 -- Ruhul Amin joined as the Director General of the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) on 5 July 2026.

Before taking up the new position, he was serving as the Additional Director General (Planning, Design and Research) of the board.

Ruhul Amin obtained his BSc in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1991 and later completed a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Dhaka in 2012.
