Dhaka, June 11 -- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Tuesday reiterated the party's firm stance on participating in elections, emphasizing that the BNP is fully prepared to contest polls at any time.

Speaking at a press conference held at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan, Fakhrul said, "BNP is always ready for elections. BNP wants to come to power through elections. Even if the election is held tomorrow, we are ready to join it."
