Bangladesh, Nov. 5 -- Mobile operator Banglalink has launched Mukto Pay, a digital payment platform aimed at making everyday financial transactions faster, easier and more accessible across the country.

The information was disclosed in a press release issued by Banglalink on Wednesday. Through the platform, customers can transfer money, pay utility bills and recharge mobile numbers across all operators.

As part of its introductory offer, the company will waive charges on wallet-to-wallet transfers and bill payments for the next three months.

The name 'Mukto' means freedom. The platform aims to reduce the time, effort and additional costs associated with everyday financial transactions.
