BD U-19 women's team lost to Lanka
Bangladesh, Oct. 6 -- In the first match of the tri-series, Bangladesh U-19 women's cricket team won by a big margin against hosts Pakistan Under-19 women's cricket team. The girls also had a chance to win the second match of the group stage.
But Bangladesh lost by 4 wickets in the last over on Monday. Batting first, Bangladesh scored 119 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, the Sri Lankans won off the last ball.
Bangladesh batted first in the match. Opener Maimuna Nahar was out in the second over of the innings. She scored 1 run off 6 balls.
Another opener, Achena Jannat, came off the bat and scored 16 runs in 24 balls. Meanwhile, Bibi Ayesha could not open the scorebook.
