Dhaka, June 11 -- Bangladesh lost to Singapore by 1-2 goals after giving a heroic fight in their Group-C match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers at the National Stadium in the capital on Tuesday.
Song Ui-Young of Singapore put his team ahead by a shot into the blank net using a short pass of his teammate Harris at the small D-box of Bangladesh in the 44th minute of the match.
After the lemon-break, Hami Saihan struck the ball and it was returned by Bangladesh goalie Mitul Marma and Ikhsan Fandi got the ball and he hit the ball into the Bangladesh goalbar in the 59th minute of the game.
