Bangladesh, Sept. 30 -- Bangladesh finished 67th among 206 teams representing 204 countries in the Open section of the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad, held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The Bangladesh Open team collected 12 points from 11 rounds, while the women's team finished 84th among 189 teams from 187 countries with 11 points recently.
Mutual Trust Bank (MTB), as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, provided financial assistance to Bangladesh's Open and Women's teams participating in the Chess Olympiad in Samarkand.
