Bangladesh, Oct. 13 -- Newly appointed Chairman of the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and Additional Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh, Md Babul Mia, visited several BCIC-controlled industrial facilities on October 9-10, 2026.

During the visit, he inspected TSP Complex Limited (TSPCL), Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Limited, DAP Fertilizer Company Limited, Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited (KAFCO) and Karnaphuli Paper Mills Limited in Rangamati district, said a press release.

During his visit to TSPCL, a three-member Chinese delegation led by Ms Rita Lu, chairperson of KANGDIEN (KD) Wuxi Technology Co Ltd, met with the BCIC chairman.
