Dhaka, Aug. 15 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has accused S.Q. Sports Enterprise Ltd., owners of the Chittagong Kings franchise, of failing to clear long-standing dues from the 1st (2012) and 2nd (2013) editions of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), as well as additional debts from the 11th edition.

According to a BCB statement, the company breached multiple legal and financial obligations, including unpaid franchise fees, taxes, and payments to players and staff.

Despite repeated reminders and a settlement agreement in September 2024, no payments were made, prompting the BCB to terminate the agreement in July 2025.
