Bangladesh, July 15 -- As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), Bank Asia PLC has established another modern two-tier solar-powered irrigation project in Bogra, aimed at supporting marginal farmers by ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply for agriculture.
The project has been implemented with the technical support of the Rural Development Academy (RDA) Bogra.
The project was officially handed over to the local Farmers' Association on Sunday.
Md Abdul Majid Pramanik, director general (in-charge) of RDA, Bogra, was chief guest, and Tahmidur Rashid, senior executive vice president of Bank Asia, attended the program as special guest.
