India, Jan. 14 -- Bangladesh has entered the Guinness World Records by setting a new global record for the highest number of flags displayed simultaneously during a parachute jump. The record was achieved in Dhaka on December 16, 2025, marking the country's Great Victory Day.

The World Records Management Team officially confirmed the achievement on Monday, according to a press release from the Chief Adviser's press wing. The Guinness World Records website states that "the most flags flown simultaneously while skydiving (parachute jump) is 54," a feat accomplished by Team Bangladesh during the commemorative event. The initiative was undertaken to unite skydivers from across the country and to celebrate Bangladesh's 54th Victory Day.
