Bangladesh, July 28 -- The Bangladesh Volleyball team defeated Sri Lanka Volleyball team by 3-2 sets in the last match of the round robin stage of the Cava Men's Volleyball Championship held in Islamabad, Pakistan on Monday.

With that, the red-and-green out-fit secured their tickets to the semi-finals by winning four out of five matches in the group stage.

The Bangladesh Volleyball team played against Uzbekistan in their first match in the group stage. Bangladesh won that match 3-2 sets.

Although they started with a win, Bangladesh tasted defeat in the second match. They lost to the hosts by Pakistan 3-0 sets.
