Bangladesh, Feb. 14 -- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman on Friday alleged that activists and supporters of the 11-party alliance are being targeted in various parts of the country, claiming that their homes have come under attack.
He described these incidents as "fascist behaviour" and termed them deeply unfortunate for the nation.
Addressing a press conference at the party's central office in the capital, he said those who secured a majority in the election must act responsibly.
"Such fascist tendencies must come to an end. If they continue, we will be left with no option but to take necessary decisions," he warned.
