Dhaka, Aug. 19 -- Bangladesh Ansar and Bangladesh Police reached semi-final as the first phase of the Ruchi 36th National Women's Handball competition concluded at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital on Monday.

After the conclusion of the first phase, Ansar and Police maintained their all-win record from their respective group matches.

From group A, Ansar secured nine points from three matches while Bangladesh Police bagged 12 points from four matches from group B.

Meanwhile, in the day's matches, Bangladesh Police beat Madaripur District Sports Association (DSA) by 39-7 goals after leading the first half by 17-4 goals while Bangladesh Ansar defeated Faridpur DSA by 53-3 goals after dominating the firs...
