Dhaka, Aug. 15 -- Another burn victim in the Milestone jet crash in the capital's Uttara died after fighting for 25 days for life at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (NIBPS).
Mahfuza (45), a teacher of the Milestone School and College succumbed her burn injuries at the burn institute around 12:45pm on Thursday, NIBPS Resident Surgeon Dr Shawon said, reports BSS.
She was on life support with 25 percent burn injuries, he also said.
"As many as 23 burn victims in the crash are now undergoing treatment at the burn institute. The condition of one patient is still critical and is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)," Dr Shawon further said.
A total of 14 burn survivors have so far been discharged from the burn institute.
