Dhaka, Aug. 8 -- A shocking incident has emerged in Savar, Dhaka after an unknown assailant entered a house and attempted to slit the throat of a man named Md. Hashem Mia (45). He is currently undergoing treatment on life support in the ICU of Savar Enam Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
The victim's younger brother, Md. Towhidul Islam (35), filed a written complaint about the incident at Savar Model Police Station on Tuesday.
According to the complaint, an unknown person or persons entered the house of Md. Hashem Mia in Mandalpara, West Rajashan, Savar between 4 am and 6 am on Wednesday.
