Dhaka, Sept. 6 -- Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki has expressed his gratitude after recovering from illness, resuming work, and receiving support from colleagues, leaders, and well-wishers.
Farooki suddenly fell sick on the evening of August 16 while attending a workshop in Cox's Bazar.
He was airlifted to Dhaka around 10:30 pm that night and admitted to Square Hospital, where he underwent appendix surgery.
Doctors later confirmed that he was out of danger and responding well to treatment, reports UNB.
In a Facebook post on Thursday night, Farooki wrote, "Good health is a gift! Alhamdulillah I am back to work and happy to be contributing as much as I can."
