Dhaka, Aug. 14 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an enforcement operation in the Sadapathor area of Bholaganj, Sylhet, over allegations of illegal stone extraction causing damage to state resources.
ACC's Deputy Director of Public Relations, Md Akhtarul Islam confirmed the information on Wednesday (August 13).
He said the ACC's Sylhet District Coordination Office is carrying out the operation in the area following allegations that local administration colluded in extracting stones in Sadapathor, Companyganj upazila, harming state assets.
