Dhaka, Aug. 25 -- India's Border Security Force (BSF) has taken into custody a Bangladeshi police officer who is a key accused in the murder of Abu Sayeed at the Hakimpur checkpost in Swarupnagar, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

The suspect has been identified as Mohammad Arifuzzaman, an Assistant Police Superintendent of the Armed Police Battalion (APBn)-2 in Muktagacha, Mymensingh. He had been suspended for being absent without official leave.
