Dhaka, Oct. 25 -- An inflatable boat carrying migrants capsized in the Aegean Sea off the Turkish resort of Bodrum killing seven people, Turkish media reported Friday.
Two people survived, according to the DHA news agency, which said one of the migrants swam to shore and a search operation had been started for the second.
Bodrum is close to Greek islands such as Kos, which are a magnet for migrants hoping to reach European countries.
There are many deaths on the perilous journeys to Greece.
The UN's International Organisation for Migration said that about 1,400 migrants have died so far this year trying to cross the Mediterranean to reach Europe.
