Dhaka, Aug. 8 -- 43 BGB distributes educational and sports materials to students of Antupara Junior School in Ramgarh upazila of Khagrachhari. On Thursday, 43 BGB Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ahsan Ul Islam distributed these materials.
The junior school was established in 2020 on the initiative of the villagers in Antupara, Ward No. 2 of Ramgarh Union in the upazila, which is dominated by small ethnic communities.
The school was established with the aim of providing education opportunities to the boys and girls of the extremely poor villagers of the area.
Currently, classes from 6th to 8th grade are being taught in a dilapidated school building with bamboo fences and corrugated iron canopies.
