Bangladesh, Sept. 23 -- Thirty-one senior officers of the BCS (Police) cadre, including DIGs, additional DIGs and superintendents of police, have been transferred and given new postings.

The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued three separate notifications in this regard through its Police-1 branch. The orders, signed by Deputy Secretary Touhif Ahmed, were issued in the public interest and will take effect immediately.

Under the first notification, CID Special Superintendent of Police Fatiha Yasmin has been transferred to APBN, while CID Special Superintendent of Police Monalisa Begum has been posted to Rangpur Police Training Centre (PTC).
