Police have arrested three drug peddlers along with 36 kg hemps from Tenguria in Nikli haor of Kishoreganj on Thursday evening.
The arrested are Arif (32), son of late Shukkur Miah in Alimcharmani village of Bijoynagar upazila , Yusuf (38), son of late Dulal Miah of Atkapara Manipur Pattar village, and Hiran Elaich Paran (35), son of Harun Or Rashid of the same village.
Acting on a tip-off in Nikli haor area and arrested three drug peddlers there. At that time, the police intercepted a motorized boat heading towards Chamtaghat. Later, they conducted a search and arrested three suspected drug peddlers along with 36 kg of hemps.
