Bangladesh, July 13 -- Three bodies were recovered Sunday morning from footpaths near two locations in the capital - beside Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) and behind Dhaka University's Amar Ekushey Hall. None of the deceased had been immediately identified.
A man, estimated to be around 35 years old, was found unconscious on the footpath behind DMCH's One-Stop Emergency Center (OSEC). He was taken to the hospital, where the on-duty emergency physician declared him dead. Ward Master Ayub Ali of the emergency department said the young man's body was kept in the hospital morgue, and since his identity remains unknown, the CID's Crime Scene unit has been notified to help identify him, with the matter also reported to local police.
