Bangladesh, July 16 -- Nilphamari district police arrested 61 individuals from January to June this year while a total of 22 cases were filed under the Cyber Security Act (CSA).
They have intensified their crackdown on cyber-related crimes, including visa fraud, online casinos, and Thai lottery gambling.
Investigations are ongoing against nearly 200 unidentified suspects.The information was confirmed on Tuesday (July 14) by Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Ops) ABM Faizul Islam.
He said the cases were filed following a series of operations conducted in Nilphamari Sadar, Saidpur, and Kishoreganj upazilas.
