Bangladesh, March 14 -- A truck driver and a helper were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks in Taraganj, Rangpur. The accident occurred at around 8:00 am on Friday (March 13) in the Kharubhaj Bridge area of Taraganj Upazila on the Rangpur-Dinajpur highway.
According to police and eyewitnesses, a truck loaded with stones from Syedpur was heading towards Rangpur. Meanwhile, another truck loaded with fertilizer was traveling from Rangpur to Syedpur in Nilphamari. The two trucks collided head-on at around 8:00 am on Friday in the Kharubhaj Bridge area of Taraganj Upazila. The front parts of both trucks were badly twisted.
