Bangladesh, Aug. 21 -- Two young men were shot and killed in separate incidents in the Labonchora area of Khulna city on Wednesday evening, triggering panic among residents.

Police said Nazmul, 19, was shot and hacked to death in the Shishu Bagan-Ashi Bigha area under Labonchora Police Station at around 9:45pm. His blood-soaked body was later found at the scene.

Earlier, at around 5:45pm, Md Monzurul Islam, 22, was stabbed and shot dead near the Ashi Bigha area of Harintana under the same police station.
