Bangladesh, July 29 -- Two people were killed and at least eight others injured when a boundary wall collapsed near Mirpur University College in the capital on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident occurred in the Love Road-Mandir Road area while people were queuing to buy subsidised goods from the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh.South Asians & Diaspora

The deceased were identified as Nasima Begum, a resident of Janata Housing in Mirpur-2, and an unidentified man.

Witnesses said a large number of people were standing beside the college wall when it suddenly collapsed, trapping several men and women beneath the debris.
