Dhaka, Aug. 24 -- Biman Bangladesh Airlines has dismissed two employees for allegedly handing over ten "unserviceable" aircraft tyres to a staff member of private carrier US-Bangla Airlines without official approval.
Biman spokesperson ABM Rowshan Kabir told the media that a preliminary investigation by the security division identified the employees, who were then terminated as per company rules.
The terminated staffs are Arman Hossain, supervisor of material management, and Samsul Haque, store helper. A termination letter issued by Biman's Administration and Human Resources Department on Thursday stated that their service ended immediately under Section 52 of the Bangladesh Biman Corporation Employees Regulations.
