Bangladesh, Sept. 27 -- At least 15 passengers were injured after a passenger bus lost control, crashed into a roadside tree and fell into a ditch in Dasar upazila of Madaripur on Saturday.

The accident occurred around 5pm in the Karnapara area on the Dhaka-Barishal Highway.

According to highway police and eyewitnesses, a Labiba Paribahan bus left Dhaka for Barishal in the afternoon. When it reached Karnapara, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus then crashed into a tree on the right side of the highway before falling into a roadside ditch.
