Bangladesh, July 8 -- The Dhaka district administration on Tuesday recovered 13.08 decimals of Waqf land in the capital's Kotwali area by evicting illegal occupants as part of its ongoing drive against encroachment.
The operation was carried out in accordance with an official order issued by the judicial branch of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
During the drive, authorities removed illegal occupants from City Plot No 602 under City Khatian No 21 of Dhaka Mouza, within the Kotwali Revenue Circle.Maps
Following the eviction, possession of the recovered land was formally handed over to the Waqf Administrator through the prescribed legal process.
The operation was directly supervised by Dhaka Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanom.
