Bangladesh, Sept. 6 -- Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rayhan Kabir has called for greater public awareness and collective action to prevent dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases and address waterlogging.
"Keeping our surroundings clean is a moral responsibility of every individual. We must work together with a strong sense of responsibility.
By joining hands, we can keep our environment clean and protect ourselves from dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases. Everyone must therefore play a role in raising awareness," he said.
The DC made the remarks during a cleanliness drive aimed at preventing dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases, reducing waterlogging and building a cleaner city.
