Bangladesh, Sept. 15 -- Md Ashik Sayeed, Deputy Inspector General of Police of the Rajshahi Range and the keynote speaker at the meeting, said mutual trust and cooperation between the police and the public are necessary to create a society free from drugs and terrorism.
He emphasised that political leaders, public representatives, community leaders and teachers must come forward to help build such a society and cooperate with the police. He also stressed the importance of abiding by the country's laws and warned against taking the law into one's own hands.
