Dhaka, Dec. 10 -- BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's physical condition remains stable, with doctors observing slight but steady improvement, a member of her medical board said on Tuesday evening.

"Her health has not worsened. This stability is reassuring for us. Madam is receiving the highest level of medical care at Evercare Hospital," the doctor told journalists.

He added, "Madam is improving, though not at the pace we would ideally hope for.

Her advanced age significantly limits the range and speed of possible medical interventions.

At this stage of life, attempting multiple treatment procedures at once carries substantial risk."
