Bangladesh, July 27 -- State minister says expatriates' frustration is justified after years of mismanagement and neglect The government is working to resolve visa-related complications affecting Bangladeshis seeking employment in the United Arab Emirates, State Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Nurul Haque Nur said on Sunday.

In a Facebook post, Nur said the government was aware of the difficulties and had been holding discussions with the relevant authorities.

"We are aware of the UAE visa complications. Discussions are under way with the concerned authorities to resolve the matter," he wrote.

The state minister said the government remained committed to protecting the interests of Bangladeshi expatriates.
