, April 18 -- As part of the ongoing 100-day Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), the College Well-Being & Anti-Substance Abuse Cell of Government Degree College Qazigund organised a friendly Kabaddi match to spread awareness against drug abuse among students.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and sports persons, with anti-drug slogans echoing across the ground. A pledge against substance abuse was also administered to both staff and students on the occasion.
Principal Prof. Sudhir Singh, addressing the gathering, expressed concern over youth involvement in drug networks and highlighted the role of sports in prevention, stating that positive peer influence through games can help curb experimentation with drugs....
