Drug Peddling: Two Shops Demolished in South Kashmir's Shopian
Shopian, April 29 -- Authorities on Wednesday demolished two shops in Wachi area of Zainapora in south Kashmir's Shopian district in connection with an ongoing narcotics case registered under the NDPS Act.
A joint team of civil and police officials, including the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Zainapora, Naib Tehsildar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Zainapora, and Station House Officer Zainapora, supervised the demolition drive on the spot.
Officials said the structures belonged to Ab Hamid Ganie and Mohd Ramzan Ganie, both residents of Wachi village, who are allegedly linked to a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
