Kulgam, April 11 -- Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam, Anayat Ali Choudhary today said that drug abuse is a serious issue affecting society and reiterated that strict measures are being taken to curb the menace.

Addressing a gathering during the launch of a 100-day intensive campaign under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the SSP urged youth to stay away from drugs and contribute towards a healthy society.

"We are working hard to dismantle the drug network. Property of those involved in drug trafficking will also be attached as per law," he said.
