India, Aug. 3 -- In a major breakthrough, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district apprehended a suspect on Monday, recovering a hand grenade and other incriminating materials.

The successful joint operation was carried out by the Pulwama Police, the Indian Army's 44 Rashtriya Rifles, and the 183 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

According to official reports, the security personnel had established a joint checkpoint (naka) along the Drabgam-Pachar Road. During routine checking, an individual approaching from Drabgam towards Pachhar exhibited suspicious behaviour.
