Srinagar, July 16 -- Srinagar- The annual Amarnath Yatra continued to witness a massive influx of devotees on Thursday, with 19,357 yatris paying obeisance at the holy cave shrine, taking the cumulative number of pilgrims to 3,43,882 during the first 14 days of the 57-day pilgrimage.

According to official figures, those who performed darshan on Thursday included 14,430 men, 4,459 women, 186 children, 84 sadhus, eight sadhvis, five transgender pilgrims and 185 security personnel.

Meanwhile, a fresh batch of 5,201 pilgrims reached Kashmir after leaving the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu under multi-layered security arrangements in the early hours of Thursday.

Officials said the batch travelled in a convoy of 191 vehicles. Of them, 1...
