Srinagar, June 17 -- Srinagar- A high-level team of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), led by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir on June 20 and 21 to review security and other preparedness measures for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to commence on July 3.

Sources said the delegation will comprise senior officials from key security and intelligence agencies, including the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and other wings of the MHA.

According to sources, the team will assess security arrangements and overall preparedness for the 57-day annual pilgrimage in both the Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
