Srinagar, May 4 -- Srinagar- A woman died by suicide after shooting herself with a 12-bore rifle in the Dudran area of Boniyar in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday, officials said.

A police team rushed to the spot after receiving information and shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities, they said.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, officials added.
