Leaving my last job meant stepping away from a workplace and stepping closer to myself.

At the time, it felt like a difficult decision, one filled with doubt and second thoughts. Now, when I look back, I realise it was one of those choices that change you from within.

For the longest time, I believed that my job defined me. My days revolved around it, my mood depended on it, and somewhere along the way, I started losing the line between who I was and what I did.

A good day at work felt like I was doing well in life, and a bad day made everything else feel heavy.
