Srinagar, Aug. 14 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Pollution Control Committee (JKPCC) has issued a show-cause notice to the Municipal Committee Awantipora, proposing environmental compensation of Rs 33.24 lakh over the alleged unscientific dumping of municipal waste near the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway at Dangerpora-Padgampora in Pulwama district
