Srinagar, Aug. 12 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha joined the Tiranga Yatra in Srinagar, and said the 21st century belongs to Bharat, describing the Tricolour as the living embodiment of India's consciousness, pride and unity.

Sinha said the Tiranga symbolises the shared strength, patriotism and collective resolve of 140 crore Indians. He said the Tiranga Yatra has evolved into a festival of people's consciousness and a tradition of patriotism that binds citizens to the motherland.

He also said the simultaneous fluttering of the Tricolour across millions of homes reflects the unity and unwavering spirit of the nation.
