Srinagar, Aug. 12 -- Over the past five years, Jammu & Kashmir tested more than 54,000 food samples, with nearly 5,000 found non-conforming to prescribed safety and quality standards. From milk and paneer to meat and ready-to-eat foods, repeated food safety violations have raised serious questions about adulteration, hygiene, enforcement and consumer awareness.
