Srinagar, May 1 -- Jammu- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said the abrogation of Article 370 fulfilled the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and strengthened the foundations of national unity, asserting that India's rise is anchored in its shared heritage and collective strength.

Addressing a gathering at J&K Lok Bhavan during celebrations marking the Foundation Day of Gujarat and Maharashtra, Sinha said the country is witnessing a renewed sense of confidence, dignity and progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
